When will your dahlia tubers be available for purchase?
We harvest our dahlias in the fall, and then process and divide them over winter. After assessing the health and quantity, tubers are usually available in early February. Please join our email list to be notified in advance when the sale will go live for the year.
If a dahlia variety is sold out, when will it be available again?
Generally if an item is marked “Sold Out”, it is no longer available for this season. Occasionally, after determining how much stock we will need for our own plantings, we will have extra tubers available in the late spring. Please join our email list to be notified if we have excess stock. Please do not message us with requests for specific varieties 🙂 We will be sure to let everyone know when and if there are additional varieties that will become available.
Can I place an order via phone or email?
For dahlia tubers, all orders must be completed online through our website.
For fresh flowers- yes! Please see more info on our fresh flowers page.
Can I change my order after it has been placed?
We’re sorry, we cannot accommodate changes to orders after they have been placed, unless your order has not yet been shipped and you would like to cancel your entire order.
Can you combine orders?
In some circumstances, it may be possible to combine orders, please contact us for details.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
We offer 10% off any orders over $325 (use the code BULK10 at checkout), and 15% off any orders over $500 (use the code BULK15 at checkout)
Do you ship to the US?
Due to export regulations, we can only ship within Canada
When will my order ship?
Because dahlia tubers cannot freeze, we will ship after the danger of major frost has passed- usually in mid-April. We will contact you via e-mail in the early spring to let you know when we expect to begin shipping. If you live in a colder part of the country you can opt for a later shipping date at that time.
Can you ship my order early?
We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate early shipping or pick-up of dahlia tubers.
Is your farm open to the public?
Our farm stand is open seasonally from late April through early October and you are welcome to come by to purchase flowers anytime we’re open. Please visit our fresh flowers page for details and current hours (usually we have more limited hours in the spring). In 2021, we will again be inviting people to walk through the gardens, however this is only on Saturdays. Please read more below.
Do you have flowers and bouquets available for purchase at your farm?
Yes! Our farm stand is open seasonally from late April through early October and you are welcome to come by to purchase flowers anytime we’re open. We always have “grab & go” bouquets made and ready to go anytime we’re open. Please visit our fresh flowers page for details, photos and our current hours (usually we have limited hours in the spring).
Do you make custom bouquets and arrangements?
Yes! We have a $50 minimum for custom bouquets or arrangements, and these must be ordered ahead. Currently, custom orders are available for pick up at the farm stand only, Wednesday through Saturday. Priority is given to orders placed a day (or more please) in advance. Day-of orders are welcome, but are dependent on availability and staffing. Day-of orders must be placed by 10am for pick up anytime after 3pm, and are not available for Saturdays. Any Saturday orders must be placed by Friday at 1pm. If you are interested in pre-ordering a bucket of bouquets for an event, please contact us. These are only available for Friday afternoon or Saturday pick up and must be ordered in advance. Please visit our fresh flowers page for more details.
Can we buy wholesale flowers from you?
If you are a local florist, please contact us and we’d love to chat. If you are looking for bulk flowers for a wedding or event, please visit our bulk blooms page or contact us for more info.
I’m getting married, will you do our flowers?
We have decided not to offer design services for weddings or events. Bulk blooms are available for you to create your own arrangements, or we are happy to reserve buckets of our premium or market mixed bouquets (like what we have in the farm stand), limitations apply. Please see the bulk blooms page or contact us for more information.
Can we tour your gardens?
We will again be inviting people to come and walk our gardens on Saturdays between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Please be respectful of the rules and check in at the farm stand first. You are only allowed to walk on the access road along the south side of the garden, and are not allowed in between the rows or beds. Do not cut any flowers. Photos are allowed and welcomed, but “photo shoots” are not (please resist the urge to walk in between the rows!). Please contact us for info on photo shoots. This is a “self-guided” walk, and the farmers will likely not be around to answer your questions. If you are interested in a guided tour or in workshops, please contact us for details.- we love to share tips and talk farming! Please remember that this is a working farm as well as our home and we ask you to kindly respect our personal boundaries. We cannot accommodate drop in visits mid-week and tours or walks through the garden on any day other than Saturday are not permitted.
